UpFlux + Mercado Eletrônico

A digital team on class C spend for companies using Mercado Eletrônico.

The network, the catalog and the quotation flow belong to ME. UpFlux operates the order that never even goes out to quote: the low-value item repurchased from the catalog, the order issued in a batch, the recurring purchase that goes through without anyone looking at the price.

Connection through the ERP first: Protheus, Datasul or SAPThe supplier network and supplier qualification stay with ME

// what UpFlux operates alongside ME

Class C spend worked item by item, without leaving your ERP.

How much of the tail really goes out to quote

Process mining on the ERP events answers the question nobody has a number for: what fraction of the fragmented spend goes through quotation with enough responses, and what fraction is issued directly. The overlap with the platform is measured, not assumed.

Negotiator Agent on repurchases

For the item that comes back every month, the agent compares the current price with the recent floor in the company's own history and negotiates the difference within the approval limit. New suppliers, critical items and prices outside the tolerance still go to the buyer.

Nous routine agents

Expediting, chasing and invoice mismatches become the digital team's work. The buyer uses the platform for what it does well and stops spending the day on follow-up.

Proof in a third-party system

When the company exports the quotation event with the proposals received, savings can be measured against the lowest proposal recorded on a platform that is not ours. It is the hardest baseline to dispute there is.

// rollout

ERP first, platform later.

The critical path does not depend on the platform opening an API. The connection starts in the ERP, where the order ends up, and the quotation data comes in when the company exports it.

01

Connection through the ERP

Protheus and Datasul through the standard routines and the TOTVS Store; SAP through the ERP's own standard interfaces. No parallel platform and no data migration.

02

Diagnostic in 2 weeks

From the event export, we deliver the map of the real process and the target in hard currency: variants, bottlenecks and addressable return.

03

Agents on repurchases

The first agent starts on the recurring low-value item, within the approval limits that already exist, with the savings baseline agreed before the first order.

// frequently asked

Frequently asked

Questions from teams that already use an e-procurement platform and want to know what to do with the tail.

Does UpFlux compete with Mercado Eletrônico?

No. ME is where the purchase happens: supplier network, catalog, supplier qualification and quotation. UpFlux is the digital team that secures the repurchase price, inside Protheus, Datasul or SAP. Companies that already use the platform are usually the best scenario, because the recorded quotation event provides an auditable savings baseline in a system that is not ours.

If the item is in the catalog, isn't the price already negotiated?

It is negotiated on entry and becomes the reference. What the history analysis shows is that the catalog price ages: the same item comes back month after month at the value agreed once, while the floor the company itself has paid, at another branch or with another supplier, is lower. The agent works that difference, order by order, within the approval limit.

How much of the procurement tail really goes out to quote?

It depends on the company, and that is exactly the number the diagnostic delivers. Process mining on the ERP events measures what fraction of the fragmented spend went out to quote with enough responses and what fraction was issued directly. Without that number, the conversation about overlap between platform and agent is opinion.

Does the platform need to open an API for UpFlux to start?

No. The connection starts in the ERP, through the standard Protheus and Datasul routines or through BAPI and OData in SAP, because that is where the order ends up. The platform's quotation data comes in later, when the company exports it, and is used to measure savings against the lowest proposal received.

How much of your class C spend has never been negotiated?

In two weeks we show, with the events from your ERP, how much of the fragmented spend goes out to quote and how much is repurchased at the catalog price.
