How do you reduce waiting time in the emergency department?

UpFlux monitors every patient's journey in real time and fires alerts before the SLA breaches, in time for the coordination to act. The model learns from the operation: it flags bottlenecks by specialty, shift and risk classification, and prioritizes intervention where the impact on waiting time is largest.

What is a real-time patient journey?

It is the step-by-step tracking of the patient from triage to discharge, with every event (triage, first attendance, exam, reassessment) measured in minutes. UpFlux builds that journey from the hospital system data and exposes it in a live cockpit for the emergency department coordination.

How do you predict SLA breaches before they happen?

UpFlux calculates, for each patient in the emergency department, the probability of breaching the SLA of the risk classification based on the current behavior of the unit. When the risk crosses the threshold, the alert reaches the coordination with the next patient to attend, before it turns into abandonment or a contractual penalty.
